Bob Block

Robert (Bob) Block has been at Lakeshore since coming with his parents at the founding of the church in 1950. While at Lakeshore, Bob has served in music as worship leader, choir and band member, and a member of some of Lakeshore’s great quartets. Other ministry has included teaching Sunday School, serving on the Building Committee and Board of Directors, before becoming an Elder. Bob’s hobbies include fishing, hunting, and woodworking. Other interests include playing and watching sports, watching Christian TV, and reading. For most of his working life, Bob served as president of LPI in Kenosha.

Bob is accompanied by his wonderful wife, Geri, who serves on the Board of Directors at Lakeshore. Their three children (Heather, Heidi, and Rick) are all actively involved in church ministry both on local and regional levels. Heather serves in Springfield, Missouri along with her husband Darin, who serves as District Youth Director for the Assemblies of God. They have two children. Heidi and her husband David are actively involved in music ministry at First Assembly of God in Kenosha. David serves locally as a medical doctor, and he and Heidi also have two children. Rick and his wife Deanne serve as home group leaders at Living Light Christian Church in Kenosha. They have one child, and one on the way!
