Mark Moore
Through a remarkable series of what he would call “divine
appointments” Mark came to Lakeshore in 1987 as a single young man, met his
wife Julie, and served on staff under Pastor Nelson Clair for seven years. The final year was spent serving as interim
pastor, before Mark and Julie left for the south for the next ten years. During his initial season at Lakeshore, Mark
served primarily in youth and music ministries.
He also served as a custodian and bookkeeper. While in Texas and Arizona from 1995-2004, Mark
and Julie served on several church staffs in Houston and Phoenix, and had the
privilege of ministering both home and abroad with a variety of Christian
movements before returning to Lakeshore in August of 2004 to join the Elder team.
Mark and Julie have two children, Aubrey and Daniel. Aubrey helps in leading the youth worship team at Lakeshore, and enjoys many interests from dogs to digital photography. Daniel enjoys basketball, tennis, video games and almost everything that moves on wheels. Julie’s involvement at Lakeshore includes women’s ministry, prayer, and Sunday School. Her passion, since grade school, is running.
Mark’s interests and pleasures include travel, sports, reading, music, and photography, His pastoral passion is to see people unite in the pursuit of God’s presence.
